I'm Matthew — a student developer with certifications in Python and Snowflake, building full-stack applications that bridge technology and human impact.
I'm Matthew Ico, a Diploma in AI & Analytics student at Nanyang Polytechnic. My interest in tech started with strong foundations in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and Computing at O-Levels — and has grown into a focus on building real applications that solve real problems.
What motivates me isn't just the code — it's the impact. From platforms that connect elderly Singaporeans with their communities to data systems that surface meaningful insights, I care about the people behind every project.
Beyond academics, I'm committed to community service, having led initiatives supporting elderly residents, environmental causes, and low-income families.
Collaborated with a 4-person team to build a platform addressing social isolation among Singaporean elderly. Engineered the Forum system with full CRUD functionality and real-time search. Designed a dual-interface UI with accessibility-focused navigation for seniors.
More projects coming soon.
Supported over 50 elderly residents through meal preparation and social engagement. Designed a Bingo session that increased participation by 20%.
Large-scale fundraising initiative for foundation beneficiaries. Personally raised approximately $75 through public outreach.
Led an environmental project focused on litter removal. Organized clean-up routes collecting approximately 10kg of litter.
Coordinated distribution of daily necessities for low-income households, ensuring 100% of items reached over 20 families.
